The making of the documentary did not run smoothly, and a shocking revelation after principal filming and the first edit of the film was complete, almost brought the production to a halt. With the time limitations of a documentary, it was impossible to tell the full story of what really happened.

Award-winning investigative journalist Isla Traquair was brought on to the project for two reasons: to secure a face-to-face interview with a predator and carry out a thorough investigation, which is presented in an extensive companion podcast.

There are one-on-one video interviews recorded post filming of the documentary with Dr. Ramani Durvasula, actor and activist Evan Rachel Wood, four diagnosed narcissists on varying degrees of the spectrum, film director and survivor Barry Sonnenfeld, male victim Doug Buggle as well as the Director Mark Vicente and Producers, Scott Altomare and Lyn Lear. There are also a number of exclusive interviews with some special guests who are not in the documentary.
